School Visits While children will differ in terms of how many visits they will need to help them transition to school, parents are encouraged to bring their children to school for about three class visits (Wednesdays, but this is negotiable), during the month before they start at Richmond Road School. This is to support a smooth transition to school for both the child and their family. Please contact Nicole Maeli at the school office to organise school visits. In addition to these visits, we hold two 'Transition
to Richmond Road School' meetings each year. These 'Transition' meetings are held on the
second Thursday of term 2 and term 4, and are primarily an
information sharing session for parents/whanau of children who will be starting
at Richmond Road School in the following two terms.
