2026 Stationary
Your child’s class list is already loaded. Just go to:
https://www.myschool.co.nz/richmondroad
Simply add your details, check that you want everything on the list, then click and confirm. OfficeMax will get your delivery underway with free delivery on orders over $70. Once you know your child’s class for 2026 it’s all good to go.
Sun smart
We don't have a uniform here at Richmond Road but in Term 1 and Term 4 students need to wear a sunhat when they are outdoors, however we also encourage hats during Term 2 & 3.

Community Newsletter / Panui
Every Wednesday we send out a Newsletter or Community notice with information about what's been happening at school and what is coming up. These are also posted on our school website under the 'parents' tab, so prior to your child being enrolled these are still viewable. When your child has been enrolled you will receive newsletters and notices by email.
Tumuaki Tuesday with Jacqui (Principal)
Each week, time is set aside to connect with parents and our community—an important part of our school kaupapa and our mantra: "Growing Together, celebrating our unique identities." Tumuaki Tuesday is held most Tuesdays from 12:00–3:00pm. During this time, Jacqui's schedule is cleared to meet with whānau and community members. To book a 15-minute slot, please email the office.
MyKindo app:
The ezlunch document gives instructions on how to set up the mykindo app on your phone, in order to pay donations and other school expenses plus school lunches.
You will be able to register your child on my kindo from their first day when they are put on our electronic roll.
We offer Before and After School Care in our school hall which is run by an outside provider.
- Before School $18 per session - 7am - 9am
- After School $20 per session - 3pm - 6pm
- Holiday programmes have an individual daily cost depending on the activity usually between $65 & $80 per day - 8am - 6pm

Attendance and appointments:
- Please ensure your children are here between 8.30am and 9.00am to start the school day, or contact the school office before 9am if your child will be absent. This is in the interest of the safety of our students that the office is notified before 9am so we can follow up with urgency any unexplained absences via a text and phone call.
- You can let us know about absences through the School App, or by emailing the school office. An adult needs to come into the office with the student if they are late to school.
- Any travel requests during the school term should go through the office and will be forwarded to the Principal. These instances will be classed as unjustified absences unless there are special circumstances. Days out of school will come under the categories in the link below. An updated Attendance policy and Attendance Plan will be added to the school website this term and will include this information. Stepped Attendance Response – STAR
- Please make appointments outside of the school day as much as possible. On the rare occasion you need to take your child out of school you will need to ring ahead and then come to the office to fill in a pass and then go and collect your child from their classroom. We will not be calling them over the speaker as this disrupts the teaching and learning in the classroom.
