Kiwi Connection includes The Nest (New Entrants and Year 1), The Village (Year 2 and Year 3) and The Hub (Year 4 to Year 6).
The teaching delivery is in English.
We have a diverse range of students and families in our English-medium area of the school and therefore plan to address the cultural and language needs of all our students. We integrate Te Reo Māori as part of our committment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and being part of the wider Aotearoa community.
In Zone students are welcome to enrol any time.
Out of zone enrolments are limited, opening and closing each year around September.

Our Goal To create a learning environment for our tamariki to succeed in accessing the New Zealand Curriculum. Where our School Values are evident in the actions we take daily as we "Grow Together, celebrating our unique identities". Communication between Home and School
There are regular Richmond Road School Newsletters which have important dates and interesting stories about what our tamariki are doing across our kura. Other notices will be sent through text or email as needed by the classroom teacher. Keep an eye open for notices on our website as well. |

The students across the kura learn to appreciate, understand and work together as one in wider school activities such as; Powhiri, Year 5 and 6 Camp, Education Outside the Classroom, Sports Events, Market Days, Open Evenings, Tuakana-Teina initiatives, School Production and celebrations of our Heritage Languages. |
