In School SportPhysical Education is part of the New Zealand school curriculum. Being active every day in some way, is encouraged. We have regular fitness as part of our programmes and can include running, jump jam and other movement activities.
We also take up offers of free specialist training. We have various experts in their fields, mostly from Sport Auckland who come and teach skills in a particular sport. Our teachers also teach sport skills and the key competencies are highlighted when playing games. Interschool SportOur school participates in the Auckland Inner City School Sports competitions. The teams are made up of Year 6 and Year 5 students. They are organised by Uala. Practices are at lunchtimes.

RRS will be looking to enter teams in the basketball competition, facilitated by Matt Atiga, at the Bay City Slicks tournament in T2 and T3. We enter teams in T2 to allow for programme set up. If you are interested in joining a team please fill in the form below and let us know of your availability to support your team. As always, these teams require support in the way of game-day coaches and managers. Please be aware that teams cannot be entered without this support. LINK TO BASKETBALL REGISTRATION Netball RRS has entered teams in the Windmill Park netball competition for the past few years. It would be fantastic if we have numbers and parent support to do the same this year. We enter Netball teams from T2 and are run for T2 and T3. If you are interested in joining a team please fill in the form below and let us know of your availability to support the teams. As always, these teams require support in the way of parent coaches and managers. Unfortunately teams cannot be entered without this support. LINK TO NETBALL REGISTRATION |
