Parents Caregivers and Whānau

Getting Involved

There is plenty of evidence to show that when parents and schools work together, children learn successfully.
We know we have supportive school parents who want to help the school in ways that use their skills and fits into their daily schedule.
Ways you can be involved:
Through helping in the classroom, attending school trips and events, helping with fund-raising events, coaching/managing sports teams and participating in the Parent Groups to name but a few.
Parent participation is actively encouraged.
Contact your teacher if you can help support learning in the classroom.

Waste Free School

We are working on becoming a waste free school. We encourage students to bring a litter-less lunch. There are no bins on school site, all waste brought to school is to go back home with students.

Students are rewarded for being waste free with our fortnightly waste free draw in school assemblies.

School Tours

If you would like to come for a school tour with David our Deputy Principal - Tumuaki Tuarua. These are available on the first Thursday of each month from 9:15 to 10:00. Please contact the office to book a tour [email protected]

Water Only School

We are a ‘water only school’. School staff will be reminding children of this and will also remove drinks other than water from children. They will be asked to take it home and not to bring it back.
